As architectural and interior photographers in Edinburgh we have done a lot of work for house builders over the years to photograph new developments.
This often involves 3 stages to the photography. The first stage is to take landscape photographs of the local area which can be used for brochures, social media and the website to promote the building development before it is built.

There was a lot of mud of the pavements from recent building work so we retouched this out.
The second stage is to produce architectural interior and exterior photography of the show house, as well as virtual tours which can be used to help promote the development.

Some of the landscaping hadn’t been completed so we did extra retouching on the images.
The third stage involves photographing the finished development itself. By this stage many of the houses have been sold and the brochures produced, so the images are used more for social media and the website to help sell the remaining houses.

We take a variety of horizontal and vertical shots so they can be used for different applications.
Obviously, one of the most important things in photographing exteriors is to get the right weather, so we regularly check the forecast to determine the best time to get the right shots.
