When Creative World were looking for aerial drone photographers in Edinburgh to photograph an office Campus they choose us because of our ability to combine this with interior and architectural photography as well as video.
Insurance company Aegon own a large office campus at Edinburgh Park on the outskirts of the city. As part of a restructuring, one wing of their offices was no longer needed and they were looking to let this out. Creative World had the job of marketing this to find a suitable client, which meant they needed professional aerial drone photography and video of the building as well as interiors of the offices and a promotional video.

The location of the shoot presented a few challenges for the drone photography and video as it is very close to Edinburgh Airport, the tram network and nearby roads. In order to be able to do this we obtained a special permission to let us fly the drone in the area. We also did a risk detailed assessment.
Certain features of the building and campus were important such as the solar panels on the roof and the general environment of the campus which has lot of green areas.
The drone was able to get excellent views of the area around the building which helped illustrate how close it was to the local amenities such as transport links and shops. For the brochure, we also took a lot of ground based architectural shots of the exterior of the building and interiors to show the size of the offices and the onsite facilities such as a restaurant, cafe, gym, onsite parking and tennis courts.
